Austin Breweries Selling Beer To-Go

It’s a hard time to own, work for or love a small business. Thankfully, Austin breweries, brewpubs and restaurants are now allowed to sell beer and alcohol to-go amidst this COVID-19 pandemic. So I compiled a list of Austin breweries selling beer to-go in order to make it easier for everyone to support our beloved Austin breweries.

Now more than ever is the time when we need to be there for each other, which includes supporting our favorite businesses. Our friends at HEB just launched their Texans Helping Texans campaign which encourages people through the state to find a way that they can help others get through these unprecedented times. For us? That is writing and sharing our knowledge with y’all. It’s not much, but as long as we are helping one person — it’s more than enough for us.

That being said, I’ve separated the list by neighborhood so that no matter where in Austin you live (or are driving by), you have a few options to pick up some cans, crowlers or growlers of delicious Austin beer and supporting a business that really needs it right now.

Now, just a few things before you hop in the car and pick up some crowlers of your favorite beers: please tip as much as you can. Service industry employees took a huge hit with this. Also, please be responsible and wait until you’re home before opening any brews — don’t be that person who has this taken away from the rest of us. And lastly, don’t forget to stay safe! The whole point of Austin breweries having to do this is so that we can flatten the curve and save lives.

Once this is over, be sure to check out our dog-friendly brewery directory to see which of these Austin breweries you should visit with your pups.

Virtual cheers,
GGW Momma
