Dog-Friendly Pumpkin Patches In Austin | 2020

Boo! Spooky season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than by visiting a stunning pumpkin patch with your doggo? Even if it is 85ยฐ out… Anyways, I wanted to round up all of the dog-friendly pumpkin patches around Austin so y’all could get out with the pups and get those #fallvibes pics.

With COVID-19 being a thing this year, I felt the need to remind you to please be safe and respectful when going out. Wear your mask, keep your dogs on a leash, clean up after them (and yourselves), and double-check these place’s websites before attending, as things are ever-changing. That being said, I will continue to update this post as more patches inevitably pop up throughout the month.

Let’s get it!

Dog-Friendly Pumpkin Patches in Austin, updated for 2020

Dog-friendly pumpkin patch in Austin at Tarry Town United Methodist Church.

Tarrytown United Methodist

While this one isn’t confirmed *yet*, their social has been hinting at a continuation of their annual pumpkin patch and I had to include it. This is my personal favorite dog-friendly pumpkin patch around Austin for several reasons: it’s basically in Downtown Austin, it’s normally not super crowded, and it’s gorgeous! The neat rows on the slanted hill of this little church make for gorgeous pictures and a unique experience.

Elgin Christmas Tree Farm

Just 45-minutes from Austin sits one of the most beloved Christmas Tree Farms in the state, and they just so happen to have a wonderful dog-friendly pumpkin patch as well. They are open daily, but hours range based on the day of the week, so be sure to check their website before visiting. Since they do have farm animals on-site, it goes without saying, but please be considerate when visiting with your dogs and always pick up after them.

Fall weather being it’s unpredictable self? Check out these 12 dog-friendly rainy day spots in Austin!

St. Richard’s Episcopal Church

This Round Rock church boasts a large dog-friendly pumpkin patch, but my favorite part is that proceeds from this yearly traditional go to the Round Rock Servicing Program. So, grab your doggos, snap some pictures, and support your community all in one go! They are open daily, but times vary based on day of the week, so check their website before going.

Dog-friendly pumpkin patch in Austin at Evergreen Farms.

Evergreen Farms

Another Elgin spot with a beautiful pumpkin patch is Evergreen Farms. Aside from plenty of photo-ops, they also have lots of activities including pumpkin hunts and races, a pumpkin launcher and even sweet donkeys on property. Again, please be responsible with your dogs. They are open weekends in October, so plan accordingly when visiting this gorgeous farm.
